On Solid Ground by Melissa Collins; 5∞ Stars review

When Jacob “Dax” Daxton returns home from war, he has to fight a new battle – the one to find his place in the world. The man who normally has a clear path to victory surrounded by brothers in combat is suddenly lost and alone. After meeting Beckett Ridge, a bearded tattoo artist, Dax’s journey begins winding down an unexpected path.
Still reeling from events that shook his foundation, Beck has never been part of anything meaningful. Now faced with responsibilities foreign and daunting, Dax’s broken spirit mends Beck in ways he never even knew he was destroyed.
As both struggle to find balance, they are healed by the comfort they find in one other. On the other side of chaos, they hope to find themselves On Solid Ground.

Melissa Collins is one of my favorite authors, you know, that one author you will read the book without even reading the synopsis.
This book took every single emotion out of me. I loved every single page of this book, it was an emotionally story, filled with love, pain, sex, forgiveness and also self improvement.
Before I tell you my love for this book, I want to congratulate Melissa, for being an amazing author, being able to make you live every single word of a book its a job that not every author can make a reality and you have make this flawlessly since book 1! In the M/M world you are amazing, you can make anyone read an M/M because you just write them with so much truth in every word that us, readers, fall to deep in your words.

Now lets talk about this book..

Dax and Beck, a soldier and a tattoo artist. Sounds hot right? Well it is for sure!

Both are my favorite, I can’t just pick one they both stole my heart! This is the story where love is love at the fullest! Im not saying it because its an M/M book, I’m saying it because it was amazing seeing who they overcome their past, they both had their own trouble but together they make it through, they helped each other heal, the loved each other bags of their past and that made them one of the strongest couple I have ever read.
This one of the books that shows you that to succeed in a relationship, love is not enough. And definitely trust, understanding, support and a lot of others stuffs between this two characters made that statement 100% believable.

*fangirl moment*
I love the love relationship between them because MY GOD Beck is sexy as F so its Dax, its not fair, they are both just WAY TOOO HOT and they make everything hotter just by breathing (no we don’t read when they breath but common you get it)

Another thing I enjoyed about this book is that it has the exact emotions I want in a book, in the right time, its never too much, its just in the point. You will for sure go all feels with this book and as me you will enjoy it maybe in a day or two it doesn’t matter the time you last reading it, but you will feel its too short, not because laking of story but because you are going to be so deep inside the story that you won’t see that the book is coming to an ending, just like good movie or a great series, you are not waiting for it to end because it is just WAY TOO GOOD!

I loved this book! Again congratulation Melissa and I do not regret a single minute of this book, your mind is poor magic and I can’t wait to read what else do you have for use in the M/M world and also in general! I just can NOT wait!

I give this books a lot of stars because it does deserves a lot of stars!

Melissa Collins has always been a book worm. Studying Literature in college ensured that her nose was always stuck in a book. She followed her passion for reading to the most logical career choice: English teacher. Her hope was to share her passion for reading and the escapism of books to her students. Having spent more than a decade in front of a classroom, she can easily say that it’s been a dream.  Her passion for writing didn’t start until more recently. When she was home on maternity leave in early 2012, she read her first romance novel and her head filled with the passion, angst and laughter of the characters who she read about it. It wasn’t long before characters of her own took shape in her mind. Their lives took over Melissa’s brain and The Love Series was born.
