The Love Series Book Blitz by Melissa Collins

What would happen if you lost everything? If the people who were supposed to love you unconditionally were no longer there for you, how would your world change?

Madeleine Becker lost everything when her parents died when she was ten years old. Ripped from her home and everything that she has ever loved, she is forced to start all over again. The only way for her to move on is to build walls around her heart and keep everyone at a safe distance. Her logic: she can't get hurt if she doesn't fall in love.

That theory is blown to pieces when she meets Reid Connely during her freshman year at college. He is gorgeous and darkly mysterious. He understands Maddy's pain all too well, but sharing his pain would mean breaking down the walls he put up around his own heart. Conflicted between loving Maddy and hiding his dark past, Reid starts to reevaluate his world. Maddy's inner strength, snarky personality and breath taking beauty help Reid to make peace with his past.
Together they find out what happens when they let love in.

Let's talk about this book, this beautiful and sexy book by Melissa Collins. First this is the book 1 from The Love Series.
This story was full of emotion, I loved every page of this book, beautifully written and with drama that is not something you think ''Oh just in books'' and that is one thing I really loved about it, how it is related to the real world.

As the name is ''Let Love In'' you will the struggles Maddy and Reid have to be finally together, he is pushing her out and she is hard at some point to. But who is not that hard when you struggle in life? (you will read to find out HA).

"I guess I can choose happy as much as I want, but it doesn't mean much if I'm not chosen back."

You will see how they start to Let Love In, it is going to be hard for them, it wont be a happy to find out what are they so hard on it, but that is life, hard, nothing is easy. Overall I don't want to talk much because you NEED to read this book.

"You bring more happiness into my life than I ever thought I deserved."

And here is Reid, I mean HE IS FREAKING HOT and a bad boy YET with a wonderful big heart.

If you’re lucky, you’ll fall in love – truly, madly and deeply in love. But what happens when that honest and pure love isn’t enough to erase your fears? What happens when your past rears its ugly head and threatens your future?

Maddy and Reid had that kind of love – the all-encompassing, Earth shattering, once in a lifetime kind of love. Then life happened. Old wounds that were thought to be long healed and scabbed over are ripped opened and they are forced to face the possibility that, maybe, they are not strong enough to fight their demons and embrace the light.

Together, they found out what love is, but now they will each need to heal on their own before they can ever be together again. They must face their fears and beat down their pasts in order to find their way through this crazy uphill battle called love.

They’ve let love in, but now, they need to find out how to Let Love Stay.

So the second book of The Love Series,. This book was the perfect sequel for me, it never let me down, it never turned down, it was just so great. I have to say Melissa is one of those authors that made me love a series, it just never lost the spark that I found in the first book.

My favorite thing about this book was that it wasn’t the perfect love, Maddy I have to say pissed me off with her attitude but she always did because she cared about him and wanted the best for Reid, she knows what it feels like to have one day a family and the other day they are gone, she just wanted Reid to have a great family picture no the sad and hurtful one he has.

"Love is always complicated. You can't expect to hand your soul to someone else without any bumps along the way.’’

They had A LOT of challenges here, but they those challenges made them grow as a couple. Another important thing, Reid in this book was still as beautiful and perfect as he was in the first book, I really love this character, so you will fall in love with him even more.

I think and I will always thing Melissa is one great author and has such a great potential to write and she has the ability to transport you to another world in no time, her books are the reflection of life with ups and downs, but real ups and downs, the kind of things you will see in real life not only in books. You will for sure get attached to this book and to this couple.

“I’m not foolish enough to think that things will always be easy, that we’ll always be perfect. We’ve still got mountains to climb, college to graduate, jobs to work. But as we bask in the light of the rising sun together, I know that Reid will always be my perfectly imperfect happily ever after.”

Of course 5 stars to this wonderful book!

Perfection. We all strive for it, but what happens when the desire to be perfect consumes you?
What happens when the need to bury your mistakes blinds you?

Melanie Crane has always been the perfect daughter, friend, student – she’s been perfect at everything, in fact. But when she lets her insecurities, the ones that she keeps hidden from
everyone, get the best of her, she falters in her pursuit of perfection. Melanie crumples under the pressure and buries her pain. Numbed by sadness and guilt, she is determined never to let anyone find out how broken she really is.

Bryan Mahoney may appear to have everything in order. He’s charming, witty and completely swoon-worthy. In short, Bryan has life all figured out, but appearances can be deceiving. When the landscape of Bryan’s family changes in an instant, he’s left to pick up the pieces.

Not all bruises leave a mark. Now, weary and afraid, Melanie and Bryan must find a way to let love heal their broken and jaded hearts.

I need an standing ovation for Melissa here pleaseee!!! (If I ever met you I'm gonna hug you and cry ok?) This book was AMAZING! First of all the girl is a curvy girl (LIKE ME :DD CURVES POWER) I love reading books with curvy girls because it gives me something to dream and it will feel real (Because let me be honest I love every single book but they are all with skinny girls so a curvy love book is awesome!).

This book is about Melanie (You met her in the first two books of this author Let Love In and Let Love Stay) and Bryan (A SEXY GODNESS CUTE BABY COMPUTER GUY), they both met each other one day and immediately they hit it off, in this book you see how Melanie struggles with her confidence (like all of us, but as a curvy sometimes you feel insecure about yourself because usually boys like skinny girls not all of them but a lot of them) so here you read how she find herself, how she learn to love her self in order to let another love her (in this case, Bryan Sexy Boy <3)

I personally love it because I'm Melanie, physically a little bit, emotionally is me, it was reading myself in another book, and it was hard because reading her insecurities it was reading mine so is kind of shocking, but just like she did it, you know you can do it! I think a lot of girls will love this book and you should totally read it!

Thanks for this book Melissa, it was AMAZING can't wait to read more books from you <3
Thanks for writing it <3

What comes after “they lived happily ever after?”

Maddy and Reid have seen their fair share of trials and tribulations, of love and loss. Facing down the biggest challenges of their young lives, they managed to survive and endure. With the future stretching out before them, they must learn to navigate new and unfamiliar paths.

Being new parents, starting new jobs, and continuing college is enough to overwhelm any couple. New challenges come up daily, as do small victories. Watch Maddy and Reid grow stronger together in this “one year later” tale of the everyday stuff that happens in real life.

With a solid foundation of love under their inexperienced feet – and with the help of their family and friends – Maddy and Reid learn how to let love shine, lighting the way for a beautiful future to come.

This was the PERFECT BEAUTIFUL goodbye to Maddy and Reid love story, this book is a novella so if you are hopping a little drama, you wont read it, but how would you? if this is our little fairy tale to see what happen after all.
Melissa did not let me down with this book, every single page was beautiful!

You will read how they are doing with the new family life they are embarking with baby Braden!
She gave us a little intro to the love of Momma C (Lucy) and Evan which her next book Let Love Be will be about, their love story!

What I love the most is that after everything, after their loss of their families, they have finally have one, because definitely after the storm comes the rainbow, after so many years of emptiness in this aspect together they fill it with love, hope, happiness.

True thing, its sad to say goodbye, we will read about them I guess in a few book, but it wont be a complete book about them, but this beautiful book was really the perfect way to say goodbye!

I love the way Melissa Collins write a book, she always make you go and live this trip we wish to have every time we pick a book to read!

LOVELOVELOVE the book!

I give it 5+ stars

What would bring you happiness in a world that was suddenly empty?
For Lucy Crane, the answer is simple: her daughter. When her husband is killed in a tragic accident, Lucy loses her desire to live, but only one thing keeps her going
– her unborn daughter. Focusing on being a mother helps Lucy cope with her loss, but kids grow up and they leave home, eventually. Eighteen years after losing her first and only love, Lucy is faced with the opportunity to find the happiness for which she’s always longed. Her own fears become her worst enemies as she learns how to embrace love once again.
Evan Donovan is also facing his own struggles. Forced to retire from the FDNY because of lung damage caused by 9/11, Evan moves to upstate New York where he hopes to find a little peace and quiet. Old habits die hard, and Evan’s hero complex and survivor’s guilt constantly remind him of how difficult it is to be vulnerable. But for the first time in his life, he’s tired of being alone.
Drawing strength from one another, Lucy and Evan discover how beautiful it is to let love be a part of their lives.

I had the honor to get a copy of the book, and I have to say this is one of the best books I have read this year. This book is simple a masterpiece, I have felt for this books in ways that are amazing for me, this was my first adult book, with mature couple not my typical teenage love book, and I regret NOTHING, if this author make books in the future about mature people I will read them all because she is simple amazing. She is one of the many reason I love reading, the power of taking me away for a whole day with a book, with stories  that are so connected to real life but never leaving that spark of fiction that we all love to read is simple great.

Lucy and Evan story is a wonderful and enjoyable story, they are both broken and ‘’old’’, scare to love again by the different consequences of life, but as everyone says ‘’You have your soulmate, be patience it will come’’ this story made me realize that, it doesn’t matter how old you are if you love is out there it will come eventually maybe sooner, maybe later.

‘’We’re both so afraid to lose again, that we never let anyone in.’'

This characters and their situation will make you cry, fall in love, laugh, smile like an idiot as if Evan is talking to you because yes he is that wonderful, that will just be captivated by this book since page 1. It will teach you lesson about love, lost and life, which is why I enjoy this book too, so many quotes that you just need to hear it sometimes to keep going on life. This book will provide you that, such a wise author.

‘’If there’s one thing i’ve learned in all of my years, no matter how many downs there are in life, there’s always one more up to pull you out of what you think will be the worst.’’

Besides everything I’m going all fangirl now so Evan, he is so hot ladies, you will want to do him all over, and he is such a sweet boyfriend with Lucy and very patients too that it you will want to do him too! But after all you will see still how real he is, how he is not perfect but yet perfect to the eyes of her love Lucy, and that is how love is not perfect yet perfect for you or your partner when it is true love.
Lucy on the other hand was a beautiful character too, someone I know that if it was real you will look up to her, she is a fighter, she is a strong woman, she is someone that I always have the will to try and be that kind of adult in my future.

''I find myself noticing beauty in a world I was certain would always be an ugly place.
I know that Lucy’s played a part in that discovery as well.’'

I give this book a lot of 5 stars perfect perfect book!

Who would you become if you lost the only person who ever mattered?

For twenty-six year old Dylan Hopkins, the answer is easy. He’s become no one. Memories of the happier times are all he has left as he finds himself meandering numbly through his now dull life. Though he cares about his work and family
dearly, he’s yet to let himself find love again. Afraid of letting go of what he once had, Dylan chooses to keep his heart buried, where it belongs, having died a long time ago.

Conner Michelson is about to change everything Dylan knows. He’s every bit the bad boy persona - tatted up, ex-MMA fighter, but after an injury leaves him unable to fight, he has to rethink his goals. Having just opened his own gym, Conner can cross his first major life accomplishment off his very short list. Next up: find a man he can settle down with and build a family. Seems simple enough - a dream most people have, but when he meets Dylan, his carefree, easy-going life is thrown into a tailspin.

Determined to keep Dylan in his life, Conner vows to resurrect Dylan's long ago buried heart and let love live once more.

I got this book from the author, and I have to say it just blew my mind, Melissa definitely an amazing author this day. Let me first start with this book talking.
First as you read in the synopsis this is an M/M book. The past part between Dylan and Shane was so emotional, both of them struggling with feeling that at a young age are hard to admit mostly when you are homosexual but it is because the society and their bad talking about homo people.
The love between them was beautiful, pure love, a love you will enjoy. Also is heart breaking, you will cry a lot so get your tissues because life is never color and most of all not when your family is not ok with your sexuality.
In the future we will meet Dylan and Conner and OH MY GOD two hot guys involving each other in hot sex and hot love, YES PLEASE. Ok after that the story between them was another beautiful one, it had his hard path because life is simply not easy but as long as there is love you will get through everything.

Melissa in this book, once again, let me go away of the real life and kept me in too, if you are homosexual please read this book, it will let you see that life might be hard for you but it will be happy at the end, you will have your happy ending because your sexuality doesn't make you any different, society will make you feel that it is hard but it is not, hold on to love!
#LOVEISLOVE

I give this book 5 amazingly and beautiful star! hope you all get it and read because you will love every second of it.

Author Pic
Melissa Collins has always been a book worm.  Studying Literature in college ensured that her nose was always stuck in a book.  She followed her passion for reading to the most logical career choice: English teacher.  Her hope was to share her passion for reading and the escapism of books to her students.  Having spent more than a decade in front of a classroom, she can easily say that it’s been a dream.

Her passion for writing didn’t start until more recently.  When she was home on maternity leave in early 2012, she read her first romance novel and her head filled with the passion, angst and laughter of the characters who she read about it.  It wasn’t long before characters of her own took shape in her mind. Their lives took over Melissa’s brain and The Love Series was born.
