*Book two in the Sugartown Series!*
The last thing Holly Harris expected was to wind up nineteen, knocked-up, and all alone. When Coop left to pursue his dreams of becoming a rock god, he left a tiny piece of him behind.
Holly wishes he hadn’t.
Jackson wishes he hadn’t.
Jackson Rowe tried filling the void his family left by drinking, screwing around, and leaving a string of heartbroken women in his wake. Moving back to Sugartown should have been easy, but he hadn’t counted on the fact his sometimes attraction to Holly would still be alive and kicking—and he sure as hell hadn’t counted on her being pregnant with another man’s baby.
They drive one another crazy, and yet they can’t stay away.
When old flames resurface, and even older wounds are torn open, can two people so similar make it work? Or will their stubbornness only drive them further apart?
*Content Warning. Intended for a mature 18+ audience. Contains angst, a crap-tonne of profanity, short-tempered Australian wildlife, and some very pregnant sex.
Enjoy your Stay as you know is the book number 2 in welcome
to sugartown. This book was, mind blowing, I simply didn’t expect so many ups
and downs. I was Team Cooper since the first book but it doesn’t mean that
Jackson is not a hot thing, now I’m Team both, because Jackson is as hot as
loving, when Cooper can be kind of an egoist. Still love him anyway.
Lets talk about Jackson for a second because I mean, I cant.
He is so sexy, and at first you will that he does care about her but more in
the sexual way fighting his feelings, but once he let his feelings out in the
moment of caring about her, about the bake, and when they make love, you will
feel the love, and when you feel it it is because the author is doing a pretty
amazing job!
‘’Gonna need you to
be real quiet, Hols. Think you can keep your mouth shut for five minutes while
I fuck your brains out?’’
Holly is seriously the girl I wanted to be if I was more
confident back in time, and I wasn’t a (sorry) pussy with guys I liked. She is
first of all FREAKING AWESOME! She doesn’t hide a thing and she doesn’t care
either what people might say about her. I love how she was with Jackson, trying
to hide her feelings too but I bet it is hard to admit a feeling like that when
you were heart broken in the past. But she is in general too awesome (not going
to say more because I might get excited and spoil it :D)
‘’Holly Harris doesn’t
do bitter. She does fifty shades of pissed off, but she doesn’t do bitter’’
I give this book, 5 awesome stars, because it was simply SO
GOOD! Not only love and sex, there is friendship, acceptance, learning to let
go of the past and knowing what is the best for you. I will say it again.
FREAKING GOOD BOOK!
Buy it and review it :)
Carmen Jenner is a thirty-something author, doctor, pilot and CIA agent.
She's also a compulsive, flagrant prevaricator who gets to make things up for a living.
While Sugartown may not technically exist, Carmen grew up in a small Australian town just like it, and just like her characters, she always longed for something more. They didn't have an Elijah Cade, though. If they did, you can be sure she would have never left.
Her debut novel,Welcome to Sugartown, releases November 3, 2013.
